Project
The project is located in Urumqi, Xinjiang. It was built in 2002. The original building was designed as a frame structure with one underground story and four above ground stories according to "89 code". The intensity of plane shape fortification is 8 degrees. The designed basic seismic acceleration value is 0.2g, the seismic grade of frame is M 2, and the class II site is classified. The building site belongs to the seismic favorable section, and the concrete grade of beam and column is C 30. Because of the new equipment, the load of one floor is increased. Through the structural checking calculation, the whole checking calculation is carried out according to the current code. The frame beam does not meet the current design requirements, and the original building is strengthened.
Reinforcement scheme and construction technology
At present, there are many reinforcement methods. Compared with other reinforcement methods, carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) has more prominent advantages: high strength, high efficiency, corrosion resistance, no increase in weight and volume of the structure. In addition, because it is a flexible material, can be arbitrarily tailored to adapt to structural shape changes, and closely combined with structural components, in the reinforcement of irregular structures and surface irregularities of the components, has obvious advantages, so more widely applicable. After many on-site investigation, repeated calculation and technical and economic comprehensive comparison, the project chooses to paste carbon fiber reinforcement scheme.
